TITLE: SAF open house---------------------------------well, i didnt want to go at first...cos i know its gonna be a sign of career...but since its compulsory..i went... so... left my sch at 0830 and headed for seletar camp to know about combat engineers and wtf they do... its pretty interesting event as i saw some of their equipments and wat they do as combat engineers..but 1st stop was some stupid raft ride... and i had to wear a stupid looking life vest which i didnt need... only after we got off, we visited our 1st stop where they show us their robots.. robots that will do the job of man, only 2 caught my eye.. 1 was the robotics detector, detect anything like mines and obstacle in dark or daylight... the other is the mach8 which is a robot that disarm chemical bombs... its big :)next stop was the chemical site, where they go out and neutralise enemies our naked eyes cant see -- chemicals.. our stupid 'bus guide' called those engineers 'teli tubbies' cos the suit they wear looks like it... -,- lame asss... but yeah.. i saw him and he is CUTE!! so ROUND!! lol.. but it serves the best protection against chemicals..last stop is where we all visited, how to construct a bridge.. sounds boring, but the bridge is the most important shyt the army would need...u dun expect them to swim.. so use bridge lor.. after that..go back sch... and die the next lesson...
